Feast your eyes on a clearer picture (compared to the blurry magazine shot) of Satoh Takueru’s Himura Kenshin. In addition to this, Oricon Style has also released shots with Takei Emi as Kaoru.
The film adaptation of the popular anime and manga series has just finished filming and is set to be released on 25th August 2012.

First Look At The Live-Action Adaptation Of “Rurouni Kenshin”
Here’s your first look at Himura Kenshin in the live-action adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin. Himura Kenshin is played by Satoh Takeru (Bloody Monday, MR. BRAIN).
The live-action film will be released in Japan on August 25th, 2012.
So how do you guys like the live-action adaptation? At first glance I thought Satoh’s side profile looked a little like a younger Sorimachi Takashi in GTO.

Plot Summary provided by IMDB.
Ah, here we have another Greek mythology-inspired film. This film was obviously green-lit due to the financial success of Clash of the Titans (2010), and Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Theif (2010). To an extent, this film hopes to capture the same financial success.
Also, for folks who want to get a good look at Superman in the upcoming Synder & Nolan film, here’s your chance because Henry Cavill is the headliner for this film along with Mickey Rourke.
Check it out when it hits theaters November 11, 2011
